Recent buzz suggested that celebrity Alia Bhatt had refused to play Sanjay Dutt’s daughter in his comeback Bollywood film ‘Bhoomi’. The makers have recently announced that Hindi cinema star Aditi Rao Hydari has been roped in for ‘Bhoomi’, which will be directed by Omung Kumar. “Aditi Rao Hydari fits the role like a glove. She is what I want to see in my Bhoomi,” says Omung Kumar. Sanjay Dutt walked out a free man from the jail last year after completing his sentence. And ‘Bhoomi’ is his return to films. The Bollywood film is an emotional revenge drama that explores the relationship between a father and a daughter. While Sanjay Dutt will soon begin shooting for the same, Aditi Rao Hydari has begun her part of the preparations for the character. ‘Bhoomi’ will be shot entirely in Uttar Pradesh and will release in August this year.
