Mom Box Office collection: Sridevi gets a big thumbs-up!

Sridevi-starrer ‘Mom’ has collected Rs 14.25 crore at the Bollywood Box Office in the three days of its release, getting a thumbs-up from her fans

Sridevi-starrer ‘Mom’ opened to many positive reviews, but at the Box Office it collected only Rs 3 crore on the opening day. However, over the weekend, the emotional drama recorded a huge growth that of around 65 percent, collecting Rs 5 crore on Saturday and a further increase on Sunday with Rs 6.25 crore. The Hindi version of ‘Mom’ garnered a collection of Rs 14.25 crore at the end of its first weekend at the Bollywood Box Office. ‘Mom’ was released on 1,260 screens across the country. The film was released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on totalling 1,350 screens in India and 456 screens overseas. ‘Mom’ is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 45-50 crore.

According to Box Office reports, ‘Mom’ has been doing well in metro cities. On the other hand, ‘Guest Iin London’, which released on the same day as Sridevi-starrer ‘Mom’, fetched a poor collection of only Rs 1.25 crore on the first day of its release.
