Mira Rajput decided to get into an arranged marriage at the age of 22, with a much older Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor. “I felt that this worked for both of us very beautifully. We laid our cards and were ourselves. There was no negative surprise after marriage, and both of us accepted our respective roles. We have become more wholesome,” says Mira, talking about her life pre and post wedding. And like every other marriage, this celebrity couple has its ups and downs too. “We have fights, we laugh a lot, raise our child together, are best of friends and when we step out, we are just two people together taking on the world,” adds Mira unabashedly. Mira Rajput married Shahid Kapoor in July 2015 and gave birth to their daughter Misha Kapoor on 26 August 2016.
