Mamta Kulkarni’s husband Vicky Goswami the kingpin of international drug operation?

Wanted in earlier drug cases not just by the Indian authorities but most of the agencies worldwide, Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni’s husband Vicky Goswami is said to be the main operative in the recently busted Rs 2,000 crore drugs raid by the Mumbai police

Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni quit the film industry more than a decade ago after reaching the celebrity status, but the ‘Karan Arjun’ actress is back to making headlines. Mamta Kulkarni is married to Kenya based Vicky Goswami who is allegedly the kingpin of a massive drug operation to smuggle drugs from a Thane based factory to Kenya.

Reports state that about 20,000 kilos of drugs, worth Rs 2,000 crore was found when a pharmaceutical factory was raided by the police near Mumbai. The people arrested in this drug bust revealed that they had met international drug smuggler Vicky Goswami, state reports.

In the past too Mamta Kulkarni’s husband has made headlines. Vicky Goswami was allegedly arrested in Dubai on the charges of drug trafficking in 1997 and is also wanted by the United States Drug Administration.

Mamta Kulkarni had bid adieu to the glamorous world of celebs and cinema in 2002 after starred in what is said to be her last Bollywood film, ‘Kabhi Tum Kabhi Hum’. Mamta Kulkarni reportedly converted to Islam after Vicky Goswami did the same and married him in 2013. Mamta Kulkarni and Vicky Goswami then shifted to Nairobi for the rest of their life.
