Ranbir Kapoor was snapped sporting long hair, a striking resemblance to Sanjay Dutt from the 1990s. Ranbir Kapoor was shooting at a studio in Mumbai for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. Decked up in a loose shirt, waistcoat and gaining oodles of weight, Ranbir Kapoor has transformed his physical appearance to look just like Sanjay Dutt for the biopic for which he is shooting. While director Rajkumar Hirani has given strict instructions to Ranbir Kapoor to keep his look under wraps, seems like it is hard to hide from the paparazzi. Also spotted at the shoot was Paresh Rawal who plays Sanjay Dutt’s father Sunil Dutt for the biopic. Paresh Rawal too looks every bit of Sunil Dutt his trademark kurta-pyjama! Rajkumar Hirani promises a story of a father-son relationship in the Sanjay Dutt biopic, which will also trace Sanju’s love life and professional achievements. Anushka Sharma has shot for a cameo, playing a journalist, while Sonam Kapoor will portray one of his ladyloves. Dia Mirza has been roped in to play Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata Dutt and Manisha Koirala will depict his mother Nargis Dutt. Rajkumar Hirani is yet to finalise an apt title for this Bollywood film which is filled with celebs and cinema stars, while he aims to release the biopic by the end of the year.
