Katrina Kaif looked every inch diva as she walked into a south Mumbai five star. Celebrity Katrina Kaif was there to receive the honourable Smita Patil Memorial Award for her outstanding contribution to Hindi cinema. While the celeb and cinema world actress had been trolled on social media for receiving the award, Katrina Kaif managed to keep her cool. “The world of cinema is often called a man’s world. It is changing but the change is slow. I believe that it is a matter of great pride that recognises and acknowledges the contribution of women in cinema. I hope to continue to make the audiences proud of me and deserve their support and love. I would like to accept this award on behalf of every woman who seeks to excel in her field of work,” said Katrina Kaif before receiving the honour.
