Joining his peers of Bollywood, Karan Johar will now have his wax statue at Madame Tussauds later this year. Karan Johar will be the first ever Indian filmmaker to enter the world renowned attraction. The ‘My Name is Khan’ director has been a popular name, inquired by most fans and visitors at the museum. Karan Johar’s wax figure will be launched with a multi-city tour across Asia, giving his fans a glimpse of his statue. The procedures have begun and the figure will be ready in the next six months. 2018 is turning out to be a special year for Karan Johar as his directorial debut ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ will complete 20 years, his chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ will kick off the sixth season, add to that the excitement of a wax statue!
