Small screen’s much loved comedian, Kapil Sharma is set for his second Bollywood outing, titled ‘Firangi’. The film is a love story between a simple village man and an NRI girl, which will be played by Ishita Dutta. Kapil will start shooting for this light hearted flick by the end of November. ‘Firangi’ will be a joint venture between Kapil Sharma and Sony, state reports. Rajiv Dhingra will be directing the comedian this time around, while Ishita, who played Ajay Devgn’s daughter in ‘Drishyam’, will play the title role in ‘Firangi’. Kapil Sharma will apparently shoot a bank of episodes for his TV show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ before he moves out of Mumbai to work on his second Bollywood flick.
From time to time, Kapil Sharma has managed to stay in the news. From switching his comedy TV show from Colors to Sony, to getting into a brawl with the BMC and tweeting to the Prime Minister. His show on the small screen is going good, with many celebs and cinema world people flocking it. But Kapil Sharma seems keen to explore his acting talent and doing another Bollywood flick, ‘Firangi’.
