John Abraham’s character in ‘Dishoom’ is that of a chain-smoker. However, the Bollywood actor takes the high moral ground saying that he would never endorse alcohol and cigarette brands in any case. “There are certain things that principally I don’t do even if I lose all the money in the world, or if I don’t make money at all. I don’t endorse cigarette brands. Smoking is an integral part of ‘Dishoom’ but I don’t endorse cigarettes. I also want to tell the youth that if we do wheelies on bikes and use a gun, it doesn’t mean that you have to do it in real life,” says John.

Bankruptcy too having no impact on him, John Abraham has his style of evaluating brands before endorsing them. When the celeb of the cinema world was asked what he looks for while endorsing products, John Abraham says, “I look for the fact that if I am really using this brand or not. And if I am honestly being able to use it then I would endorse that brand. I understand how celebrities work. We endorse everything for money. But in my entire career I have never succumbed to that. I don’t even go for any marriages or shows, because I believe that my art is my religion and my profession, and it is sacred. I am meant to perform on the big screen and nowhere else.” While preaching youth taking high moral grounds and even talking about going bankrupt, John Abraham is now awaiting the audience’s reactions to his latest big screen release, ‘Dishoom’.
