After Bollywood’s historical magnum opus like ‘Bajirao Mastani’, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has plunged into action to churn out another impactful project. The filmmaker has been long planning a film on celebrated poet Sahir Ludhianvi.
Speculations were rife that Irrfan Khan would be playing the noted poet on the silver screen and that he absolutely enjoyed the script when narrated to him. But trade buzz suggests that the moody actor has now decided to drop this Bollywood project with no dates left to accommodate this biopic. The actor apparently has a long list of films like ‘Durga Rani Singh’, ‘Begum Samru’, ‘Tariq And His Daughters’, ‘Banker To The Poor’ and ‘Inferno’ among others, which will release over the next two years.
