Leaving aside the debacle of ‘Akira’ and ‘Noor’, Sonakshi Sinha seems to have picked up an interesting project. The Bollywood actress has reportedly been signed up for choreographer Bosco Martis’ directorial debut titled ‘Circus’. Sonakshi will play the role of a trapeze artist, with Suniel Shetty playing her father, who will be a former circus artist. Rumours are rife that Sonakshi and Suniel will soon begin with workshops to adapt the skills of gymnasts and acrobats for ‘Circus’, the training for which will be extensive for both the Hindi cinema stars. The film is set to start shoot in July with a large part of the schedule being in the US.
‘Circus’ is not the only interesting Bollywood film that Sonakshi Sinha has bagged. According to a report in Mid-Day, filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani has approached her for a romantic film with Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh. Sonakshi had informed the portal, “There are multiple discussions happening on films, but nothing has been locked as yet.” In her last film, ‘Noor’, Sonakshi and Diljit came together for a party number, ‘Move Your Lakk’. While Sonakshi is listening to a few scripts, the actress has also been shooting for Dharma productions’ ‘Ittefaq’ alongside Sidharth Malhotra, which will hit the screens some time in 2018.
