Huma Qureshi believes that there is a large audience which believes in good horror stories, but never served one. Her upcoming film ‘Dobaara’ could change that
Huma Qureshi and brother Saqib Saleem are excitedly promoting their upcoming horror flick ‘Dobaara’, which is an official remake of the Hollywood movie ‘Oculus’. Sharing her opinion on the kind of horror films made in India, Huma says, “There is a huge chunk of audiences that want to see clean and good horror but cannot because of the kind of films made here. I would describe ‘Dobaara’ as a high concept and low budget horror film in its purest form. It will find a lot of resonance with families and young people. This is an official remake of ‘Oculus’, but is Indianised a bit. It is our humble attempt to make a horror film for a much larger audience.” Huma is confident to bring in more audiences that love horror in its truest sense!
