Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Kesari’ witnessed a blast on the sets in Wai near Mahabaleshwar last month and the film’s shooting was stalled owing to the damage. While no one was injured, there was a lot of damage to the equipment and set-up, which has resulted in mounting costs for the producers, Dharma Productions. Karan Johar’s production house Dharma has suffered loss of whopping Rs 8 crore. Reports suggest that the makers will soon be reimbursed for their losses through their respective insurance companies. Due to fire on the sets of ‘Kesari’, Akshay Kumar’s period drama is delayed by another 10 days. ‘Kesari’ stars Parineeti Chopra opposite Akshay Kumar and is scheduled to release during Holi 2019.
