Rajkummar Rao is riding high on the success of his last Bollywood release, horror-comedy ‘Stree’, which has crossed Rs 100-crore mark at the box office. On Tuesday, in its third week, ‘Stree’ made a total collection of Rs 109.65 crore. Trade buzz suggests that while producers of ‘Stree’ are laughing their way to the bank following the big success, Rajkummar Rao has hiked his remuneration, increasing a few zeroes in his fees. The star is very well aware that he has now become a bankable actor, and hence seems to be asking for more remuneration. Producers are queuing up at Rajkummar Rao’s doorstep as he becomes one of the most profitable actors in the Bollywood industry as of now.
While a sequel to ‘Stree’ is already planned, Rajkummar is currently shooting for ‘Made In China’, after which he has a string of releases lined up. The ‘CityLights’ actor will be seen in ‘Mental Hai Kya’ and ‘Imli’ with Kangana Ranaut, ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ with Sonam Kapoor, ‘5 Weddings’ with Nargis Fakhri, ‘Life In A… Metro 2’, ‘Turram Khan’ and ‘Swagat Hain’. Despite hiking his fees, Rajkummar Rao still remains one of the most sought after celebs in the Hindi entertainment world.
