Half Girlfriend Box Office report: Collection drops by 50 percent!
Despite the holiday season and IPL getting over, ‘Half Girlfriend’s’ Box Office collection dropped by 50 percent on Monday, which was strong in the first three days of release
‘Half Girlfriend’ opened with a bang on its first day of release by collecting Rs 10 crore and went on to make another Rs 10.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 10.75 crore on Sunday. However, with the start of the week, ‘Half Girlfriend’ witnessed an almost 50 percent drop in numbers at the Box Office despite vacation time and IPL getting over. Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s love story managed a mere Rs 4.75 crore on Monday, making a total of Rs 35.75 crore at the end of four days of the Bollywood film’s release. Irrfan Khan’s ‘Hindi Medium’, which released on the same day, received a lot of positive reviews, but could not translate much at the Box Office. At the end of four days, ‘Hindi Medium’ recorded a collection of Rs 14.25 crore.
