It is not just the Bollywood heroines like Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra who are bagging the accolades for working in Hollywood, but ‘bad man’ Gulshan Grover too has been working a lot in global cinema. Gulshan Grover says, “I am Bollywood’s first commercial cinema actor who started this transition of going to Hollywood. It was in 1994, so I have been there since a very long time. I have agents in England and Los Angeles, USA. Just like how I have friends in Bollywood, I have friends in foreign cinema. And if not then they at least know about me.”
Even if he is seen less in Bollywood films of late, Gulshan Grover claims to keep getting a lot of offers from the world over, “I keep meeting people at festivals and regularly get offers from different kinds of cinema. Working in different kinds of films teaches you so much.” This Bollywood’s global actor’s projects include Hollywood film ‘A driver’ directed by Bill Duke, an Australian film with Brett Lee and two Canadian films among others flicks.
