Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur’s love filled ‘Fitoor’ hit the screens this Valentine’s weekend, but it seems like big names could not save the film at the box office. In its opening weekend, ‘Fitoor’ make approximately Rs 13 crore. Releasing on the same day was Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat starrer ‘Sanam Re’. This Divya Khosla Kumar film got a bigger audience, making approximately Rs 17 crore in the first weekend. Apparently, ‘Sanam Re’ saw a huge surge of audiences on Valentine’s Day, while Abhishek Kapoor directed ‘Fitoor’ did not enjoy the equal popularity despite having bigger names attached to the film.
