Emraan Hashmi has done several tough roles in his career, but playing Mohd Azharuddin for his upcoming Bollywood film ‘Azhar’ may have been the most difficult job! The actor apparently had to practice a lot on the cricket field. “Azhar bhai is the most accomplished batsman and coming close to how he plays was very tough. He was one of the highest run scorers at a time when I was just an average player. Thanks to Azhar bhai who taught me a lot of things. I was more of an off side player, but I had to play on the leg side as that’s how Azhar bhai played. It took me about 3-4 months of grilling cricket training to perfect it,” says the actor. Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Azhar’ will hit the Bollywood screens on May 13.
