Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital earlier this month, after he complained of uneasiness. The 95-year-old thespian was diagnosed with lung infection and was recuperating at the hospital since the past two weeks. Dilip Kumar has now been discharged and has returned home, but he is reportedly on intravenous feed. Saira Banu, Dilip Kumar’s actress-wife, continues to be by his side at all times. Back in 2017, Dilip Saab, as he is respectfully addressed in the entertainment industry, suffered a health scare and was admitted to the same hospital. He was diagnosed with mild pneumonia back then. A few months before that, in August, Dilip Kumar’s health was down due to dehydration and infection and the actor was hospitalised again. The veteran actor’s health has made him frequent at the Lilavati Hospital. Celebs and cinema stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan have been visiting the ailing actor at regular intervals. Known for his performances in films like ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ and ‘Karma’, Dilip Kumar turned 95 on December 11, 2017.
