As a part of her research work for upcoming Bollywood flick ‘Padmavati’, Deepika Padukone quietly and secretively slipped away to Chittorgarh in Rajasthan
With all the controversy faced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the sets of ‘Padmavati’, in Rajasthan, leading lady Deepika Padukone made a secret trip to Chittorgarh. Reports suggest that Deepika Padukone wanted to get a feel of her character of Rani Padmavati, aka queen Padmini, and hence she quietly undertook some research work there. The actress apparently explored heritage structures and ancient locales during her solo trip. While Deepika plays the titular role in the magnanimous ‘Padmavati’, the film stars Shahid Kapoor as the king of Chittorgarh, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, and Ranveer Singh plays the Mughal emperor Alauddin Khilji.
