Deepika Padukone was lauded for her performance in ‘Padmaavat’, but it will be long before her fans can witness another example of her acting prowess. Deepika had signed up for a gangster biopic, based on Sapna Didi, which would be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. However the film has been delayed due to several reasons. Leading man Irrfan Khan was rumoured to be down with jaundice as the actor also revealed that he had contracted a rare disease. Deepika too is reportedly suffering from a back issue which the actress had developed during the shoot of ‘Padmaavat’. Apart from Bhardwaj’s thriller, Deepika has not announced any other Bollywood film.
