Deepika Padukone to walk the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival?
If L’Oréal Paris has indeed roped-in Deepika Padukone as its latest face, the celebrity Bollywood actress might well be walking the red carpet as the brand’s special invitee at the Cannes Film Festival to be held in May
Deepika Padukone had a wonderful beginning to the year, with the release of her Hollywood project ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’. Adding to the excitement for 2017, Deepika has apparently bagged a deal with an international cosmetics brand, replacing Katrina Kaif. L’Oréal Paris is yet to unveil the face officially, but a teaser poster featuring a Bollywood actress, who has covered her face, has been shared on the social media, which states, “Guess who’s going to Paris?” The brand seems to have announced a fresh face, which in all probability could be Bollywood’s leggy lass Deepika Padukone. Speculations are rife that Deepika Padukone has bagged the deal with L’Oréal and will walk the red carpet at the prestigious and eagerly awaited Cannes Film Festival in May 2017!
L’Oréal Paris’ latest teaser
Last year, Katrina Kaif walked the red carpet at the Cannes International Film Festival as the brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris. Katrina walked out of the deal as rumours suggested that she is planning to launch her own cosmetic line and it would be a direct conflict of interest. However, till date, Katrina has not announced any cosmetic line-up and seems like the international brand did not benefit as much as it expected out of Katrina Kaif. Interestingly, Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan continue to be associated with L’Oréal Paris, with Deepika Padukone being the latest addition to the list.
