It’s been two weeks since Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’ released while Akshay Kumar’s ‘Good Newwz’ came out only a week back. Despite that, both the films are competing neck and neck. ‘Dabangg 3’ has collected Rs 133.75 crore at the domestic box office after staying in theatres for 14 days.
This means that even after being a Salman Khan film and releasing just before Christmas holidays, it couldn’t perform as expected. Akshay Kumar has been a tad lucky on that front. Akki’s ‘Good Newwz’ indeed brought jovial times for the actor. The film collected Rs 126 crore in just one week at the box office. ‘Good Newwz’ is expected to overtake ‘Dabangg 3’ in the second week.
