While Bollywood babe Priyanka Chopra may be earning a name on the Hollywood platform, back in India her latest release has received a poor response. Prakash Jha directed ‘Jai GangaaJal’ opened to a poor audience of around 10 percent at most multiplexes across the country. The film released on over 2600 screens in India but with low audiences, it managed to make approximately Rs 4.25 crore on its opening day. According to trade buzz, this Bollywood film received the most collection from the Delhi/UP sector, standing at around Rs 1 crore. It remains to be seen if ‘Jai GangaaJal’ manages to gather momentum over the weekend.
