Bhoot Police 2 as a sequel may well be in the making after the success of ‘Bhoot Police’. Sequels of Bollywood films are no more a new thing in the entertainment industry anymore. In fact, makers of some of the successful projects are only busy with filming sequels and prequels of their movies, instead of coming up with any out-of-the-box ideas. Thanks to this culture that one more flick could see a sequel happening soon.
Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam, Jacqueline Fernandez and Jaaved Jaaferi-starrer ‘Bhoot Police’ has just released but there is news of the film having a sequel as well. Some media reports suggest that there will soon be ‘Bhoot Police 2’ as the recently-released multi-starrer has had good traction. It was screened on an OTT platform. The film had ditched the traditional theatrical release and the makers had rather chosen to hit the Disney+ Hotstar to screen their film.
‘Bhoot Police’ director Pavan Kirpalani and producers had gained confidence after many Bollywood films released during the Covid-19 pandemic. Hence they advanced the flick by a good seven days and released the movie on September 10. For those who have just joined, the film is produced by Ramesh Taurani of Tips Industries. It was on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the biggest festivals in Maharashtra. The God seems to be pleased and blessed the cast and crew to proceed with the ‘Bhoot Police’ sequel. In the first part, Saif played the role of a tantrik though more news on who will play which character in the sequel ‘Bhoot Police 2’ is still awaited.
