More than a decade ago, Priyadarshan gave Bollywood a hilarious hit in the form of ‘Hungama’. Trade reports state that the filmmaker has once again joined hands with producer Ratan Jain to churn out a sequel to ‘Hungama’. Priyadarshan is planning to rope in some fresh pair and has approached Ayushmann Khurrana and Disha Patani to play the lead roles. Since the first film had two male leads (Aftab Shivdasani and Akshaye Khanna), Priyadarshan is on the lookout for a second hero as well as he wants to keep the sequel’s flavour intact. ‘Hungama’ released in 2003 and showcased excellent comedy by Paresh Rawal and Shoma Anand, who were the other comic actors in the Bollywood flick. It remains to be seen if the makers will repeat this duo in the ‘Hungama’ sequel or not!
