Arjun Rampal’s USP in Aankhen 2 will surprise everyone!
Mixed martial arts and lot of action will be Arjun Rampal’s unique selling point for ‘Aankhen 2’, as the Bollywood actor plays a blind character in the film
After an overwhelming response to Hrithik Roshan’s blind character in ‘Kaabil’, Arjun Rampal is all set to step into the sequel to ‘Aankhen’, titled ‘Aankhen 2’, wherein this Bollywood actor too will be playing a blind character. When asked about direct comparisons with Hrithik Roshan and the way he carried his character on shoulders successfully, Arjun says, “The challenge is not to compete with anybody, but to raise the bar,” who will being shooting for ‘Aankhen 2’ in April this year. “I am training for some amazing action and stunts and will have some mixed martial arts (MMA). There will be a lot of action and humour. Also, the sequel will be more stylised than ‘Aankhen’, which was more realistic. I am looking forward to the justified action done by the blind characters,” adds Arjun, who has been training for the role since long. ‘Aankhen 2’ will take the story ahead from the first part, retaining only Amitabh Bachchan and Arjun Rampal’s characters from ‘Aankhen’. The ‘Aankhen 2’ team will shoot the film in South Africa where the blind characters will take up a heist at the casinos. Directed by Anees Bazmee, ‘Aankhen 2’ boasts of celebs and cinema world’s stars like Arshad Warsi and Anil Kapoor apart from Amitabh Bachchan and Arjun Kapoor.
