Arjun Kapoor: F**k all those trolls

Arjun Kapoor has come down heavily on Twitter trolls who attacked her sister Anshula Kapoor over an incident of ‘Koffee With Karan 6’. Janhvi Kapoor had called up Anshula for help to win a gift hamper on Karan Johar’s talk show. However, it seemed that Anshula couldn’t hear clearly over the phone and eventually it was Arjun who took home the prize. Janhvi obviously wasn’t too happy about the same. Social media was soon abuzz with trolls who started targeting Anshula with rape threats! A protective brother that he is, Arjun Kapoor reacted, “Something I assumed was an absolute non-issue on ‘Koffee With Karan’ and has escalated into Anshula Kapoor being abused and I can’t be bothered by protocol anymore. F**k all those trolls who wish harm to my sister! I hope your mom or sister never have to go through what you have put us through.”

Speaking about social media trolling, Janhvi too recently spoke at a live social media event about the incident. “People are just quick to judge on social media and you want to protect the people in your life. Like for example, my sister. She recently got trolled on social media. She did something silly on ‘Koffee With Karan’ and started getting rape threats! It was just weird to me because people are faceless on social media. They feel they can have opinions that sometimes cross a moral line. So, when I put personal stuff on social media, I do think of that. I feel protective towards them (people in the frame), what people might say about them or about my equation with those people. You tend to be guarded.”
