Anushka Sharma is cheerfully promoting her upcoming release ‘Sui Dhaaga: Made In India’ on all platforms despite being in pain. The actress is reportedly suffering because of a bulging disk and has been advised rest by her doctors. Anushka was scheduled to perform at a reality show but couldn’t move due to pain, however, her co-star Varun Dhawan enthusiastically filled in for her. Anushka has committed to promote ‘Sui Dhaaga: Made In India’ and is gearing up to shoot for an appearance on a special TV show, ‘Adbhut Ganesh Utsav’. Directed by Sharat Kataria, ‘Sui Dhaaga: Made In India’ is set to hit the screens on September 28.
While Varun Dhawan plays Mauji in ‘Sui Dhaaga’, Anushka Sharma portrays the role of Mamta. The duo will romance each other for the first time in this film, which is inspired by the highly acclaimed Make In India campaign by the Government of India. Varun is a tailor and Anushka plays an embroiderer in the Bollywood film. The duo learnt the art of stitching well and took several workshops to match their rustic characters in ‘Sui Dhaaga: Made In India’. All of this hard work and more seems to have left Anushka in pain but professional reasons are not allowing her to rest and hence she is all out to promote the film with Varun Dhawan.
