Bollywood music director and singer Anu Malik had been hospitalised last Tuesday as Malik was to undergo a surgery for acute pancreatitis on Friday. The veteran musician was in a lot of pain and hence was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and was under observation at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, state reports. However, even after this major health scare, Anu Malik is now on the path of recovery and will be discharged from the hospital very soon. In all likelihood, Malik should be home by Thursday. Bollywood celebrities and cinema world colleagues like Asha Bhosle and Mahesh Bhatt visited the music director in the hospital.
Anu Malik has to his credit some foot tapping Bollywood hits like ‘Ek Garam Chai Ki Pyali Ho’ and ‘East Or West, India Is The Best’. This National Award winning musician has reportedly been roped in to be the music director for comedy film ‘Hera Pheri 3’. We wish Anu Malik a speedy recovery.
