Bollywood’s always young superstar Anil Kapoor was recently conferred with the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award by the Maharashtra government. Being elated on the occasion, celeb and cinema world actor Anil Kapoor said, “This award is a huge honour for me. I have been born and brought up in Maharashtra, so it feels like our parents have given us this award. Since we were born here, we have got everything from the state. And it is even more pleasurable as the award is in Raj Saab’s name. I am his huge fan and have learnt a lot from watching him act in Bollywood films.” Apart from Anil Kapoor, Bollywood’s veteran actor Jeetendra too was honoured with the Raj Kapoor Lifetime Contribution Award.
