Amrita Singh quits Mubarakan, Ratna Pathak Shah in, as shoot begins in Delhi?
Ratna Pathak Shah has agreed to come on board after Amrita Singh quit the Bollywood film, filled with celebs and cinema world’s A-listers, over alleged creative differences
Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee have reached Delhi to kick start the shooting of ‘Mubarakan’. However, Amrita Singh, who was to play Arjun Kapoor’s mother in the Bollywood film, is no longer associated with the project. Industry buzz suggests that the veteran actress decided to quit ‘Mubarakan’ over creative differences and has been replaced by Ratna Pathak Shah. In the meantime, Arjun will commence the shooting of ‘Mubarakan’ in Chandigarh, as the team has a 12-day outdoor schedule. Anil Kapoor has no scenes right now but the celeb and cinema world actor dropped in to be by Arjun’s side during the ‘muhurat’ shot. ‘Mubarakan’ is a family entertainer and Anil Kapoor will start shooting for the same in January 2017. The film features Arjun Kapoor in a double role who will be seen romancing Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty. ‘Mubarakan’, finally starring Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Athiya Shetty and Ratna Pathak Shah, after Amrita Singh quit, will release on 28 July 2017.
