Randeep Hooda’s choice of Bollywood films have been ‘hatke’, which evident by his performance in movies like ‘Main Aur Charles’ and ‘Highway’. However, the actor has never really been associated with the big Bollywood production houses like Dharma and Rajshri. When the actor was recently asked about the many independent filmmakers in the entertainment industry, it sounded like Randeep Hooda was taking a dig at the celebs and cinema world’s big names. Randeep said, “All filmmakers are independent till the time they don’t get attached to anyone. Film direction and filmmaking are collaborative efforts. It requires your own personal ability to convince people that you can do it. There are not many independent directors in our country, they are all waiting to get dates from superstars.” Randeep Hooda is waiting for his upcoming Bollywood films ‘Sarbjit’ and ‘Sultan’ to hit the theatres this year.
