Akshay Kumar-Rajinikath’s 2.0 to release with Kangana’s Manikarnika
‘2.0’, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ and ‘Baaghi 2’ will clash with each other as they are tipped to release on the same day, on April 27, 2018, along with one Hollywood flick, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth-starrer upcoming film ‘2.0’ has finally got a release date, clashing with three other major movies. The trade buzz in the entertainment industry suggests that ‘2.0’ will release on April 27, 2018, clashing with two Bollywood and one Hollywood film. The much anticipated ‘2.0’ will have to face stiff competition from Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 2’ and Marvels Studios’ ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. ‘2.0’, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ and ‘Baaghi 2’ though are films with different concepts but they are largely dependent on the action theme. Besides Bollywood, Marvels’ ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ enjoys a huge fan following in India and can prove to be a dangerous release for all the three Bollywood flicks. ‘2.0’ features Akshay in a negative role, a villain inspired from a crow, while Southern superstar Rajinikanth takes him on as the protagonist.
Interestingly, the biggest blockbuster of 2017, ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’, released on April 28 and it remains to be seen which of these films will recreate the success of ‘Bahubali’, as they hit the screens on April 27.
