Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ promotions have kick-started in a grand way in Los Angeles. Putting into play a rather unique promotional strategy, a 100-foot-tall hot air balloon, featuring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, is set flying over the iconic Hollywood signage in Los Angeles. Even bigger plans are in the pipeline as celebs and cinema stars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar will set sail for their ‘2.0’ world tour which will include more unique marketing strategies. Sequel to 2010 release ‘Enthiran’, the film was to initially release on October 18, during Diwali. But to avoid a clash with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Golmaal Again’, the release date of ‘2.0’ was postponed. ‘2.0’ will now finally hit the screens on January 25, 2018.
