In recent times, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), aka Censor Board, has been in fights with several Bollywood filmmakers. However, cinema star Ajay Devgn stands in their support. “We try to show more and more of reality. But the CBFC is also right in its place, as you cannot show things beyond a point on the silver screen. Filmmakers should maintain that limit,” says Ajay. As a producer, Ajay Devgn is busy promoting Leena Yadav directed ‘Parched’ and was happy to have an A certificate. “We didn’t have any issues with ‘Parched’, there were no cuts. It deserved an ‘A’ certificate. We had asked for one and got it as well,” informs Devgn. ‘Parched’ traces the journey of three ordinary women who want to break-free form century old traditions. The film stars Tannishtha Chatterjee, Radhika Apte and Surveen Chawla.
