From ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, to ‘Neerja’, and the most recent Bollywood release ‘Sarbjit’, biopics have become a hot and successful topic in the entertainment industry. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who played the role of Dalbir Kaur in ‘Sarbjit’, is hopeful that more such films will be made. “There are lot of wonderful stories being told and as a creative person and an artiste, it is a good thing that such stories are being shared with the audiences. Even the people are loving such stories. Till the time they support such movies, producers and writers will be inspired to share more such stories. It is a very good time for that,” opines the actress, who was showered with praise for her emotional portrayal of a sister fighting for her brother’s freedom in ‘Sarbjit’.
