The first look of newcomers Aadar Jain and Anya Singh’s debut movie ‘Qaidi Band’ is out and the duo seems set for a big Box Office fight. Produced by Aditya Chopra and his Yash Raj Films, ‘Qaidi Band’ is set to hit the screens on August 25, clashing with two other promising projects. Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline’s ‘A Gentleman’ and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ will also release on August 25, taking ‘Qaidi Band’ head-on. As if this was not enough, biting off a major chunk from the lucrative Box Office pie of the Bollywood films is a Hollywood flick as well. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ will also come on August 25. With three such big film releasing on the same day, Aadar and Anya are set to witness big fireworks with their very first film, ‘Qaidi Band’, on 25th August at the Box Office.
Celebs And Cinema had earlier reported how Aadar’s debut movie is similar to Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming flick ‘Lucknow Central’. Both the films are based on the lines of jail inmates, who follow their passion for music. While the plot of ‘Qaidi Band’ has not been revealed as yet, the title and the poster are enough to confirm that it will be a ‘jail musical’. Aadar Jain, grandson of Raj Kapoor, will romance Delhi based newbie Anya Singh. Directed by Habib Faisal, the shooting of ‘Qaidi Band’ is complete and the film is gearing up for release with major publicity. Aadar and Anya’s ‘Qaidi Band’ clash aside, Farhan Akhtar’s musical journey will release on September 15.
