Sonakshi Sinha and wrestler Sakshi Malik shared the stage at a recent event. When the celebrity Bollywood actress was asked if she would step into the shoes of the Olympic medal winner for a biopic cinema, Sonakshi replied, “Of course, I would love to. Sakshi has also said that I am very powerful and also do stunts well. So if a movie is made on Sakshi Malik then I would definitely want to play the role. She has also approved it!”
While Sonakshi would love to do the biopic, the celeb’s last film ‘Akira’ was a female-centric flick. The cinema actress goes on to preach how women are bringing about a change in inequality status. “Gender inequality exists in every profession. Bringing about gender equality is of utmost importance. Today, women are holding important positions, are raising their voice and are doing well in their fields. A change is coming through for sure, but we are very far from achieving an equal level,” concluded Sonakshi Sinha.
