Sunny Deol has been busy making new celebs and cinema world stars on the silver screen by launching new faces. But his last attempt at direction, ‘Ghayal Once Again’ failed miserably at the Bollywood Box Office. Not losing hope, the macho-man of the 1980s and ’90s has taken the reins of his son Karan Deol’s debut in Bollywood in his own hands. Rumours are rife that Sunny wanted to pair up Karan with Amrita Singh-Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Khan, in what would be a recreation of Sunny-Amrita’s ‘Betaab’ romance.
However, there seems to be no ‘Betaab’ for Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol with Sara Khan. Filmmaker Karan Johar has signed up Sara in an exclusive contract for her debut and hence Amrita Singh had to turn down Sunny Deol’s offer. Now it remains to be seen who will be cast opposite Karan in his debut movie to be directed by Sunny Deol.
