In a heart-to-heart chat with the media, Bollywood celebrity Aamir Khan touches upon all current news issues, including celebs and cinema world stars Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kiran Rao and even Sallu’s rape comment, apart from talking about ‘Dangal’
- Whatever I have read, I feel what Salman Khan said (about the rape comment) was rather unfortunate and insensitive.

- When Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan enter a room, it feels like a star has arrived. But when I do, it is like a waiter coming in. Oh, I am sorry, I shouldn’t say that. Waiters are also great people. But I don’t have that quality. When I enter, it is like nobody entering the room.
- I am happy to know that Salman and Shah Rukh are spending time together, they went out cycling and are chilling together. It is really wonderful.
- From whatever trailers and song I have seen, I love the look of ‘Sultan’. It looks like a very exciting film and I really hope that ‘Sultan’ is a huge success and breaks all records.
- During every film, when we reach the end, I feel only a week is left and if something happens to me (death) then all my hard work will go waste. This thought comes to me every time. It happens so, because I was to know what we can practically do to solve it. We cannot do anything, but for ‘Dangal’ I had told Nitishji (director Nitish Tiwari) that 80 percent of the film is done. So if anything happens to me then cast someone else in my younger role.
- I have to thank Salman Khan for the title ‘Dangal’. The title was there in the script but the rights of it were with Puneet Issar. I knew that Salman was close to Puneet. I told him that I wanted the title and asked if he could arrange a meeting with him. Salman called up Puneet and told him I wanted the title ‘Dangal’, even when people were cooking up stories that Salman and I were fighting on the same wrestling film. Salman has played a big role in getting us the title. Puneet too was very sweet to give us the title ‘Dangal’.
- Kiranji (wife Kiran Rao) often teases me that the man she married 10 years ago has changed so much that I cannot remember what used to be his original look.
- Kiranji likes my older look of ‘Dangal’ because I used to hold her lovingly. Now she tells me that my body has become very hard, first it was soft like a pillow.
