Bhumika Chawla, known for romancing Salman Khan in 2003 release ‘Tere Naam’, is making a comeback to Bollywood. Bhumika will be seen playing the lead role in Indrajit Lankesh directed ‘Luv U Alia’. ‘Luv U Alia’ is a romantic film and Bhumika seems excited to make a comeback to Hindi cinema after a sabbatical of almost nine years. Bhumika, who has a two-year-old son, will play the role of a mother on the silver screen. ‘Luv U Alia’ will have a special cameo by Sunny Leone. The same movie was released in Kannada in November 2015 and will now be made in Hindi.

Bhumika Chawla’s last Bollywood movie was in 2007, ‘Gandhi, My Father’, after which she went on to do several Telugu and Tamil films. She has worked in Bhojpuri, Kannada, Punjabi and Malayalam cinema as well. Amidst her growing acting career, Bhumika tied the knot with her long time love and Yoga guru Bharat Thakur. Bhumika and Bharat got married in 2007 and welcomed a boy in February 2014.
