While TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide on April 1, Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra’s ex-manager, Prakash Jaju revealed some bitter details of how PeeCee had tried to end her life twice.
In a series of Twitter posts, Prakash Jaju had revealed how Priyanka Chopra wanted to commit suicide after the death of her alleged boyfriend Aseem Merchant’s mother. He had posted on Twitter, “Priyanka was very close to Aseem Merchant’s mother. Her death in 2002 shattered her so much that she tried to jump off her apartment to commit suicide. I reached in the nick of time and caught hold of her and tied her to a chair till grills were fixed on all the windows of the flat. PC may look very strong now but she was also very vulnerable in her struggling days. Priyanka tried to commit suicide 2-3 times but I managed to stop her.”

As this came as a shocker to the celebs and cinema world, Priyanka Chopra was away shooting for her TV show ‘Quantico’. Hence the Bollywood actress did not bother to respond to the claims.
However, Priyanka is back in India and recently visited Delhi to receive her Padma Shri Award from the President of India.
Reacting to the suicide claims, Priyanka told PTI, “This is utter… First of all, it’s so sad that Indian media has given credibility to the man, who was in jail because of harassing me, without checking the history who the person is. So, I have nothing to say because there is no credibility to this person, who media is giving credibility to.” Piggy Chops indirectly falsified the suicide stories of her ex-manager Prakash Jaju by calling him an unreliable source in Bollywood.
