‘Ki & Ka’ has been getting a positive response at the Bollywood box office, making approximately Rs 25 crore in its first weekend. When Arjun was asked if he is interested in the Rs 100-200 crore club, the B-Town actor responded saying, “People don’t remember numbers much, appreciation is what people remember. If you like the film then people don’t think how much it made at the box office windows. I just want to do a film which stays in people’s mind.” This comes in the wake of the fact that these days most big ticket Bollywood films’ success is measured on the scale of whether it can enter the coveted Rs 100, 200 or 300 crore club or not, and how many records it shatters at the box office.
For those who are looking at some number crunching, ‘Ki & Ka’ is made on a moderate budget of Rs 30 crore and is still a long way before it can mint some big moolah for its makers.
