63rd National Film Awards have been announced by the Government of India and fans of Amitabh Bachchan and Kangana Ranaut have reasons to rejoice. Bollywood Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan has been announced as the Best Actor for ‘Piku’. This will be Bachchan’s fourth National Award. Kangana Ranaut has won the award for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, making it her third National Award as the actress bagged the Best Actress honours for ‘Queen’ in 2014 and Best Supporting Actress for ‘Fashion’ in 2008.

The National Award for Best Hindi Film goes to Ayushmann Khurranna and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bollywood film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’.

While Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan have missed the train this time around as well, Salman Khan starrer and produced ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has touched hearts in Delhi. Bollywood’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has been announced as the Best Popular Film at the 63rd National Film Awards.
