Sushant Singh Rajput made a dreamy debut in Bollywood with ‘Kai Po Che’. While his career took off with a flying start, his personal life, mainly relationship with Ankita Lokhande, was not exactly in the right place. In an earlier interview to yours truly, Sushant Singh Rajput had mentioned “getting her calls constantly every five minutes” when asked how the life had changed after switching from TV to Bollywood.
The Bollywood actor owed a lot of explanation to his ladylove when he could not answer her calls, thanks to his busy schedule of constant film shootings and promotions. Beating all odds, Sushant and Ankita continued to make starry appearances on the red carpet and at public events. But reports state that the feeling of insecurity riled these celebs’ relationship. Apparently, Sushant Singh Rajput had been very transparent about their love but Ankita was fearful that it would never workout, a sense of insecurity creeping in right from the beginning. After six long years, it seems like Sushant Singh Rajput is done with giving explanations every now and then, putting a bitter end to this celeb couple’s love tale.
While a lot is being written about their relationship and subsequent breakup, Sushant has gone into a low-phase. He had posted on Twitter, “If you can’t understand my silence, you will never understand my words!” while the second post read, “Mirage after mirage… The incessant futile pursuit of happiness… In the end it doesn’t even matter…” Sushant Singh Rajput’s WhatsApp status, even though updated a year ago, on February 16, still reads, “Comfortably numb”. We wonder if their relationship had already beginning to end between the Bollywood and TV celebs by then.
