Back in 2011, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ released with a bang and was declared a huge hit at the Bollywood box office. The film relayed the journey of three friends, as they holidayed in Spain for bachelor party. Rumour mills were recently abuzz with talks of a sequel to this Bollywood money-spinner.
Abhay Deol, one of the friends from the film, is all game for it. He says, “I am not aware if a sequel to ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ is being made. But if the sequel has been written properly then I wouldn’t mind doing it. Of course, it becomes a bit tricky as the first film has been appreciated a lot. So to make a sequel and living up to it just like the earlier one becomes more challenging. I think the only reservation is about a good story.” Abhay Deol had played the part of Kabir Dewan, an architect, with Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar as his friends in this Bollywood flick.
It remains to be seen if writer-director Zoya Akhtar decides to take the story of these three loveable characters of ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ ahead. If that happens then Bollywood will have more reasons to cheer.
