Shah Rukh Khan was in a complete promotional mode yesterday as he visited Hans Raj College to promote his upcoming film ‘Fan’. The actor was in Delhi to launch the title track, ‘Jabra Fan’ amidst a crowd of college students.
However, allegedly, the actor faced some protest from a group of students said to be affiliated to Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), a student organisation. The mob apparently shouted slogans for SRK to go back. This has happened for the second time for the actor, who recently faced attacks in Gujarat. Shah Rukh Khan had been shooting for his another film ‘Raees’ in Gujarat when Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) members had started protesting, reportedly also pelting stones on his car when he was in Ahmedabad.
Shah Rukh Khan is facing the ire for having statements on intolerance last year, when he said that there was extreme intolerance in the country. His Diwali release, ‘Dilwale’ also faced an initial ban in a few states across the country.
