Deepika Padukone will turn a year older on January 5 and the actress has planned no grand bash for the birthday. Instead, toeing the line with her upcoming release ‘Chhapaak’, the actress ring in her special day in the company of acid attack victims. Deepika plays the role of an acid attack survivor in the film and hence decided to spend her birthday in their company.
The actress will be travelling to a café in Lucknow which is run by acid attack survivors and victims from neighbouring cities will also join in the celebrations. Deepika is on a promotional spree currently and will travel to Delhi after her Lucknow visit. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, ‘Chhapaak’ is slated for release on January 10.
