Jacqueline Fernandez is lending a helping hand to build homes in flood-affected Kerala apart from contributing Rs 5 lakh to the charity

Jacqueline Fernandez is lending a helping hand to build homes that were destroyed during the recent floods in Kerala. The actress flew out to Aluva, the northern suburb of Kochi in the state of Kerala, to help the affected families. The actress will also be interacting with the victims of the August floods and has donated to the tunes of Rs 5 lakh for the rehabilitation work. Jacqueline is also helping the relief team collect funds of over Rs 50 lakh by encouraging donors to contribute to the social cause. On the professional front, Jacqueline was last seen in ‘Race 3’ alongside Salman Khan.

The actress has already shot for ‘Drive’ co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput, however the film’s release at the ticket windows is yet undecided. Jacqueline has also signed up for the Hindi remake of Kannada romantic-comedy ‘Kirik Party’ opposite Kartik Aaryan. The film’s shooting is however delayed as the script is being reworked upon. To make the most of her free time, Jacqueline has thus decided to do some charity and hence is helping the social cause of building homes in the flood-affected Kerala.
